What’s your why … your BIG why?

Updated: Feb 20

Mark Twain once famously said: “The two most significant days in your life are the day you’re born, and the day you figure out why!” So, what’s your why?

Have you figured out why you’re here on planet Earth?

If a succinct answer doesn’t immediately spring to mind, relax. Take a deep breath. You’re in good company. It seems that most of us haven’t answered that question for ourselves. We’re all busy doing and performing in life and business. There’s nothing wrong with that. We need to do and perform to make a living!

But what if we get so caught up in our doing, for so long, that we neglect the more important aspects of our being?   Might we eventually discover that we lived our life but failed to fulfill our purpose?

The purpose of this short blog is to give you an opportunity to:

Take a break from life & business,

To reflect on life & business,

To make the most of life & business!

Along the way I’ll reveal the secrets and life-altering lessons I’ve learned over my past seven years speaking about and discussing this deep subject with over 700 audiences of high-performing CEOs and leaders around the world.   Each post will focus on a single topic – a theme you can continue to reflect upon in the days between posts.

As you read, engage with the material. Ponder the subject deeply and you’ll discover:

• How to identify the whys that drive you and why they matter so much to you

• What an extraordinary life looks like to you

• What legacy you want to leave behind

• How to break free from unresolved issues that hinder your relationships

• How to set goals that lead to lasting significance

With each post you’ll take another step toward building your own personal Bridge to Purpose.

Come along on this journey and you’ll get crystal clear about who you could be and what you might do to live a life that truly matters – to you and the world around you.

Up for the ride?

“Everyone dies.

But not everyone truly lives!”

– Paraphrased from the

movie Braveheart
